Romina & Pablo

I met up with Romina 4 months before her wedding and was delighted to be able to get to know her and her mother. I gotta say meeting our clients before hand really makes our weddings run smoother, I also find that it relaxes the bride and groom more since we are now their friends and not some random people pointing cameras in their faces if that makes sense. We try and meet our clients on skype or on the phone at least so we have a better idea of their vibe.
Romina & Pablo also requested to meet me  a day before and boy where these two in love and so excited to have their special day!
They had such an interesting ceremony, very non traditional and personal.
Romina and Pablo wrote their own ceremony and had Romina’s aunt read it. They included activities such as a flower mandala that every bridesmaid added an element to it to create a circle of love. Selected guests (parents and friends) added seeds to the mandala to seed their love and their new lives and to grow together.
They did try to have a light ceremony but the wind picked up and they weren’t able to. They still smiled and overjoyed with sharing their vows to each other.

This one included Chachi the pregnant Donkey who was due that day! (no baby donkeys but boy did she look pregnant!)
Had to snap a selfie of myself, my husband (second camera man), and Micheal Amici (friend and their wedding photographer)
Their reception was held at Casa del Parque Sierra Nevada Hotel by Belmond at their beautiful gardens with a very large sweets table:
Their center piece above the dance floor was spectacular! (above pic)
They bride and groom had a very sweet entrance, which I found was a great idea however it was done during the day so the firworks were not appreciated as much as it would have at night:
Their first Dance
And here are some of their amazing deserts catered by the Hotel Sierra Nevada
I can’t wait to share the final video!
Stay tuned!
