Alex and Joe had the sweetest and cutest wedding. As the season changes to colder I was honored to head out to Asheville and capture their wedding. I was able to work with Our Labor of Love photographer Heidi who was a flowing elegant photo ninja through out the night! Alex and Joe’s wedding took place at Hidden River Events which was gorgeous:
Lovely little farm set in the mountains. With a hidden river (get it its called hidden river events!) and beatuiful wild flowers! We have yet to post the video but here are some sneak peek shots from behind the scenes!
She had some gorgeous red velvet shoes to go with her wedding color theme:
The flowers for her and her bridesmaids where all gathered from the land itself which was such a lovely personalized touch!
I mean how adorable are they:
They had a lovely and personalized ceremony next to the river
Loving the red wine color scheme of her bridal party!
Joe and Alex actually went to highschool together and have known of each other for years! they reconnected after college and have been a pair ever since!
*Swoon* on her Mantilla which was passed down from her great grandmother! It was a lovely addition to her already fantastic dress that she was wearing!
Once again Thank you Alex and Joe Congratulations and stay tuned for the Video! *Special Thanks* to my trusty assistant 😉 Kath, who carried my stuff around and enjoyed this Darby style wedding.
Stay tuned for the video! I’ll post about it here and on our website.
As San Miguel always proves to be a colorful hit for destination weddings, Lauren and Charlie’s wedding was hard to be on the color spectrum. Planned by Eventia events with wedding planner Dahlia Bastien, this wedding was a huge success of color. From the welcome cocktails to the rehearsal dinner to the wedding, we had the best time capturing every moment filled with color and grand entrances! Check out our behind the scenes pics below.
This lovely pic is from their engagement photo shoot with Marcus Jolly who also shot their wedding. Check out his work here.
Their welcome cocktails where filled with color, food, music and killer views to match the sunset. Lauren’s signature drink clearly had a spot light cause it was so damn good!
The rehearsal dinner didn’t disappoint either! Lauren wore a traditional hand embroidered dress to go with her flower crown and Charlie and his groomsmen wore a collection of matching Abrazos shirts. I couldn’t get enough of the Otomi table runners and was just smitten by the sunset.
Their wedding day was just as magical – here are my highlights of the day:
Check out our website to see their final video!
YES! Im here to share yet another video of ours!
Clari & Vic this wedding was brought to you by Mariana Tellez who is from Solei Weddings, such an honor to work with them! We look forward in seeing the pictures from the photographer Alejandro Rivera as well so stay tuned!
Lets talk about how they included their adorable pup Mica! I LOVE it when couples include their furry friends! ❤
These two where so in love and funny! I spent most of my time laughing and just smiling at their joy that they had for each other. Both of them had such big hearts and we just walked away smiling cause they are those contagious happy couples!
We had a great time running up and down the streets near the park looking for locations for them to pose and have those San Miguel photos.
Now lets take a moment to oggle on their cake! Three layers of good yummy chocolate
cake! You can’t see it in this pic but their cupcake topper was adorable. Check out the
video to view it more closely!
I had to include this pic that I shared on instagram in action pic of their callejoneada
boy they had fun fun fun in the streets of San Miguel de Allende.
Clari putting on her wedding dress. She looked gorgeous!
Check out their love story that we captured on film below

After their video stay tuned for Romina & Pablo’s wedding also held at Sierra Nevada.
See you next post!
Dianna and Juan booked us almost a year in advance, so I had been anticipating their wedding for months and months. Again, Nick and I had the pleasure of skyping with them and then having breakfast with them at Lavanda previous to their wedding to meet and greet. It was great since we where able to hang out, feel their vibe, hear more about their story and what they wanted from their video.
When the day came Dianna was so ready and Juan was so ready he was already dressed and prepped for the big day before we even got there!
Set in the beautiful Casa Cariño with a ceremony at La Parroquia church with a very large callejoneada back to the reception their night was filled with Banda Music, Mariachis, stopping and clapping. Of course our session with Dianna and Juan on the amazing rooftop was also stunning with those too so in love. I will share the pictures of Erik Zavala if I get a link and stay tuned for the next wedding video Clarizza and Victor in our next blog post!
